I listened to this single when it first came out. I didn't know them much then but I really liked the song already. It stared when I was watching Maki's 2 episode special 'Chance'. His brother there said that he never cried except when SPEED disbanded. HAHAHA. I got curious. They reunited So, I thought I'd give it a try and I liked it. The song was different from all the others. It's strong. That was a few months ago Fast forward to August and look who do we have....

Here.................

080309 AnS episode # 146

Maybe it's just me but it feels like Oh-chan and Matsujun was shy-er than usual. Hmmm.......Tsk Tsk.
I'd love to see Ohno blush if near a girl. ^_^

A very uncomfortable riida me thinks.....

Just why is it that Oh-chan would sit so close to Nino when Nino (never mind his pose) barely have space before he falls off the chair. lolz...Ohno there is so much space on your left.....Body language does not lie....tsk tsk tsk

This episode is so much fun with the new 'do of the boys and all....

So I thought it was fitting to blog a bit about them.. I am not fond of girl bands. In fact I don't really have a favorite but I'm feeling they maybe be the first one to break just that....Let's see.......

So, Takako-san was Bakanishi Jin's ex of five years? ( far left ) My friend is not going to like this. tsk tsk tsk AH well, don't quote me on that, but damn she's pretty.

One time or another Idols will grow 'older' but I've always thought. V6 has been doing an awesome job in that department.
Growing older gracefully and as they age it seems they just becomes even more cooler.

This PV is definitely is way better than the MOA inspired music video. tsk tsk tsk

I love this PV so much.

{ta***** ang ganda....ang simple pero ang sexy amp.....senxa na napapamura ako....

nabuhay kasi ung dugo ko eh....lolz.... }

Black + Coat & Tie  = SMEXY.
Finally something good again from V6.

The last time I ever enjoyed something collectively from the lads were from the Swing PV.

OMG go......killed me.....OMG innochi....killed me twice....

the boys were MEN. *melts a thousand times*

and it's so rare to see JE boys pv with a girl on it deshou? so this is a rarity.....

one word for this PV ===================== SEXY.....

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Don't ever stop being cool.

p.s.

thanks link for the heads up. ^_^

Back home from watching Ninoy's Musical play again for the second time. I'd think watching it the second time won't impact me as much as it did the first time. But I was mistaken. It was a full house and the audience was appreciating the play. They responded well and was clapping the whole time.

At the end, they gave the cast standing ovation. Clapping, doing the Laban sign and shouting in adulation. I think even the actors were surprised. Some of them were on tears. It was amazing. Watching live plays has never been this interesting......

It was a great night.....

ah, No....

It was a very inspiring night.

I just came home an hour or so ago from Ninoy's newest musical play. Ako si Ninoy. ( I am Ninoy ) I was a volunteer and an usherette. So I got to see a lot of politicians and 'vip' if you might call it.

Well, the play was exceptionally nice and I was inpired. I'll tell you more about it next time. Since I got some more volunteering to do tomorrow. If I can wake up early that is.

I am not digging Aiba-chan's hair. Matsujun seem to have his old hairstyle of last year back where he got his bangs on one side. Sho is too thin and his hair cut made him even more thin. Nino has become an 11 year old once again with that hair and riida seems to be back with his natural skin color.....

I have got two dorama's I've been really late on....Orthros no Inu and Buzzer Beat. Is it just me or is Pi-chan is relatively quiet lately. I mean did they even create a buzz on buzzer beat at all? Maybe I'm just out in the woods as far as promotions on the NEWS boys side is concerned.....

Aiba -chan's dorama {Maiga-ru} been confirmed right. Since it's on TV guide...deducing from the little kanji and nihongo that I know, it's a love story. He is a dad, its a friday night dorama 11:15 - 12:10 at Asahi TV and  it will be shown on October.
I am not too sure with one thing..... Does TV Asahi provide good doramas? Because I rarely watch from 'em and I don't recall by mind any striking dorama aired by them, aside from UNO.
Well anyhow, I love you Aiba-chan and Gambatte....this seems like a prayer answered. We are all waiting so so so so and too damn long for this.

and why the heck is Nino's SP with Mao taking so long to air? Why september? *sigh* とても 遠く....

Done with Majo Saiban and I just wanted to say. Toma-kun can't say I ain't supporting him because since Maou I've been seeing all of his dorama's. In fact I kinda resolve to myself that one of these days I'll watch all of his past works, dorama wise at least...The thing about Majo Saiban is it felt too MAOU-ish. The devilish / dark setting with one evil mind controlling everything. It's interesting enough if I haven't seen anything as awesome as MAOU. Also, it became a little bit boring at times and predictable. Not predictable in a sense that you know who was behind of whatsoever. But the way the story is progressing and the characters was a little too familiar. The way the writer and director presented the story was being manipulative too. They were showing scenes to make the audience believe what they wanted them to believe just to crush those at the next episode. I thought it was tricky because what I wanted was, evidence being presented then let me conclue it myself. Woooooooh, am I taking that too seriously???? lolz....Anyhow, I got a bit tired of the whole chase after a while 'cuz when I started the finale at that point, I was like.....cho...tto...........okay, with whatever already....haha

So I'm on to the last episode of, and I am fairly forgiving and patient with this one, Konkatsu. This dorama is something like. What you would wanna watch when you do not want to think and just relax with a beer in hand on a lazy weekend night...hehe...Incidentally, I got that idea on the beer thing since it's almost always on each episode, there's always someone gulping a beer or wine.....^_^

Episode ten and I ain't liking it...ahahaha thing was. Since I am a Tat-chan fan I went to watch this for him but of course it wasn't just him. I have never seen Nagai-san act so I was fairly excited with that too. I mean, GREAT CAST, this one. So it was a bit of a let down to have this kind of simple story line. Even with that, I took it all with a grain of salt and just got on with it. This was probably the only dorama I really followed last season. I wanted to blog about episode ten since I'm just done watching it and as I was saying...I ain't liking it....Because....well, since Tat-chan's character is almost next to nothingness (it feels like he just come in and out of each scene with nothing much to contribute to the story) my interest naturally went to Nagai-san's character (ma ma, of course he is the main actor afterall tsk tsk)

Dakara, I ain't liking it because of this.............

I ain't digging the idea of Haruno (Ueto Aya) and Kuni-kun (Nagai-san) together. Sorry, but I just don't see it and I'll just abhor that fact if they'll end up together. Because IDOLS shouldn't be with anyone on or off screen! hahahaha...Aha! so, I am so protective of almost all if not all of JE after all tsk tsk....but really......

This I feel is so much better..........^_^

*sigh*

Oh dear, Episode 11 is going to drive me nuts..........

on to the other dorama's I am on...

Atashinchi no danshi hardsubs aren't really progressing very fast so I'm still on episode 6.
Mr. Brain  I'll be finishing episode 6 and 7 today.
I'm concentrating on BOSS since they're done with the whole series..
Still stucked at episode 2 on smile 'cuz where I was dl it has stopped subbing it.
Episode 7 on TQS2.
Episode 7 of Love shuffle killed me and  I was done watching it in two days and surprisingly, that has been my most most most favorite DORAMA for this year. Officially....

Mainland China's Meteor Garden? I don't know what to say. I was checking out the first episode because I am so damn curious. I thought they won't be allowing another adoptation for the next two years or so? Is this even offcial?

Erm, really so so Sorry but I don't know about this. I'll watch the first few episodes, but frankly I am not sure this is going to work. They ought to have put Hangeng there and maybe I can seriously give it a try.

First of all Cdramas or Movies tend to be corny. I don't want to sound biased or prejudging this new version.
I for one hopes that there is improvement in Chinese dramas but I tend to think otherwise and wish they should just stick with the Kung fu and historical dramas and stuff. Because from what I have seen so far well yes they're too sweet for my tooth.

Like, I am a Jay Chou fan but he's got this mainland chinese movie kung fu dunk and it was a pain to watch although the effects were good.

Besides its going to be tough to surpass JVKC, Matsujun / Oguri Shun and the new Korean F4.

Ewan, all I can say is.
I don't know about this

I went to watch Harry Potter earlier tonight and I thought it felt like seeing cousins growing up.

Secondly, I can't freakingly believe it's august already and I haven't done anything!

Third, I am so wanting to watch BOSS . I can't believe I am missing out on Takenouchi Yutaka and Tamayama Tetsuji's new dorama. Okay, I am slow. I didn't know they have new doramas and worse I didn't know they were together in it.  I have nothing against Toda Erika but she again???!!! I dunno about this.....>.<

Lastly, I am in dire need of new romantic Love Shuffle type of movie and dorama to watch? I need inspiration.

Somebody recommend something please~!!!!

My friend invited me to watch an indie film today.
She got free tickets courtesy of the people from Hands on Manila.

The title of the movie is boses. (Voice)

Well the thing with me about indie films is, sometimes it also gets to the point of.... Oh look! I am watching an indie film I am so cultured?!  I've also long wondered why is it that indie films almost always have to have a gay, someone's just got to be naked, poor, prostitution etc. theme?....Don't get me wrong. I'm just thinking out loud for a moment. I am not homophobic or am I the first one to judge anyone. Just that it feels like it has become I am soooooo gay and misunderstood and I am soooooooooo poor therefore I'll sell my body so don't judge me or I am not accepted by society so therefore I'm this.....that...

My concept of indie films here and sometimes abroad has become these same themes. I didn't say I am an expert nor do I say that these themes are not provoking and do happen in real life. But how come it's always that and just that? I feel like saying okay, we got the point. Now, let's move on.

So I was there in UP Diliman Sine Adarna 2 p.m. today not knowing what the movie was going to be about and for and an hour and half the most. I was entertained. I was inspired. I was moved. I felt good. I felt sad. I felt human. It's good to feel these emotions because it meant you are alive and you are being you who are designed to be.

A thinking being with emotions.

SYNOPSIS:

{ Rescued by a concerned neighbor from his abusive father, 7-year old Onyok is brought to a shelter for abused children. Amanda, the shelter’s owner-founder realizes that Onyok is unable to speak, caused by a physical trauma that damaged his larynx. On the first day of his stay in the shelter he hears the faint sound of a violin being played from far off. This strange but beautiful music that has captivated Onyok’s attention comes from Amanda’s reclusive brother Ariel, who has turned back on his career as a concert violinist in Manila and came back to the family house bearing a terrible guilt. }

and Man I said to myself this is what I'm sayin'. You don't need to talk to convey emotions (he was mute). You don't need someone to be naked (No one's gay nor a prostitute). You don't need to be misunderstood (though many are in this movie, no one's overly emphasizing it), nor you have to cry a river (someone did cry but it didn't come across as it was asking symphathy from the audience) nor anyone shouting at the top of their lungs (I hate seeing those on some bad t.v. drama, makes me want to puke)

One just have to be natural and let humanity manifest itself. That, I think is hard to accomplish in any art. A single tear didn't drop from my eyes. Nor did I *rofl*. Still it spark many emotions in me. I felt happiness, inspiration and made me believe that if we fight hard enough there will be a time when life and the universe will get back at you and show you that there is beauty, humanity and hope here in this life and the next.

Of course, it could be that I am just being a bit bias. Music played a huge role in this movie. I love music, but don't we all? I maybe tone deaf for all I know, nor do I play any piece of classical music. But, I appreciate it and listens to it once in a while. Classical music surprisingly calms me and makes me look at everything in a different perspective. So, I'm thinking.....

Why aren't there many movies with music at its theme? Not commercially nor on Indie films.

My point exactly. That, plus socially awareness, is one of the reason for loving this movie.

Also, this film made me remember what I have always known that Filipino's can make a damn good movie if they want to! They can be creative, intellectual, smart, daring and all that jazz. It's quite sad that they aren't planning on showing this movie commercially or releasing it on DVD. Well, at least not yet.

After the film, Julian Duque (Onyok), the kid in the middle. Performed two pieces on the violin. Yes, he is a child prodigy and a real violinst and Yes, he do speak and Yes! he is a normal kid. Just proves that you don't have to be different, eccentric to be regarded as a real talent. Julian was smiling, signing autographs and making a peace sign while taking pictures with the audience.

He was like any normal boy. ^_^
Thank God.

No, I am not hallucinating. OmG as in OmG and it was all an accident. It really was! You see my day didn't start too well today. So I decided to storm out the house and headed somewhere. That somewhere ended up on SM North and did errands instead. When 'lo and behold a big trampoline or whatever you call it says Boyz to Men Live July 24, something to that effect. I said oh darn it! I wish I saw that. I missed them again for the millionth time. So,  I entered the mall and went on the second floor when I saw groups of people seem to be looking at something. Hmmm, naturally I looked and woooh it's Boyz to Men! and I was like, wait today is the 24th?!!... *toinks* What the....:p

So apparently they just arrived maybe because after a while they were singing...aha! you're probably from Mars if you don't know this song....End of the Road.....*gasp* I can't believe my luck yo~. Just a few days ago I was pissed at myself for missing their concert at the Araneta, for the second time.  Didn't even know they were here. I mean they were part of my youth yo. They really were. I don't listen to vocal groups before it was mostly bands, alternative believe it or not but my brother who actually buys records - tape. Yes to have a tape is indeed a luxury for me, then. I didn't have my own till later. I would just sneak to listen to my bro's and sister's tapes. I was almost always influenced by my older brothers and sister anyway. My bro's tape collection ranged from Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Rage against the machine, Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Green Day to Boyz II Men. Ahahaha....Grunge and Punk to RnB? Although I knew who they were I was intrigued when I saw Boyz II Men amongst them. I don't remember what album it was but I remember being blown away when I listened to the whole album. I've never heard such beautiful voices that created such heavenly harmonies before, I never thought existed. Their voices was just too beautiful. They sing from the heart.

Maybe it was this

or this because for some reason this picture got stucked in my memory.

Anyhow back to my long long story ahahaha. I sms my friend right away and was like calling her. I said OMG call me Boyz II Men is here call me they're singing. I'll let you have a listen. But before I was able to contact her they finished singing already. They only sang a bit of End of the Road. I was happy, that was enough. I told my friend they're signing autographs! Shall I buy a CD? I'll buy! I mean I might not have this chance again. I didn't know they do signing even! She told me to buy for her too and have them put her name and I was like Oo nga noh! lols....

I decided I'll get the DVD instead because it wasn't that expensive plus it would be cool to have a DVD signed and my friend said she'll get the CD. I asked the seller guy if it's okay to have these two signed for two different people and he said there should be two of you but I said but there's only me ahahaha. He said hmm I guess it's okay so go ahead. So, I lined up and I was distracted that I didn't have a camera and I was all nervous and I was all alone and I was shaking and I was on the line taking the plastic off from the DVD and CD and talking to my friend on the phone and whilst thinking of what to tell the guys.

In short, I was in a complete mess in the head!
*rofl*

</div>

I was worried that I couldn't get them to sign the CD for my friend and DVD for me with our names on it and how the hell am I supposed to ask BOYZ II MEN to do this for me and to explain it in English with them understanding it AHAHAHA. ( Don't get me wrong I speak English....hehe ) But how to do that when your a mess?  Besides, I was terribly pissed I didn't have a camera and the only camera I have is my samsung phone who doesn't even print pictures because my samsung phone which was half descent to take pictures was lost or stolen. I am mumbling away. Sorry, ^_^

Back to the story so I was there next in line Shawn was the first one seated on the table he was wearing a white cap and white shirt, looking very nice and so I took a picture using my low tech phone ( my mum's actually~ ) and he smiled at me and said hi I think and I think I said Hi, and erm, can you please write my friend's name, this is for my friend. Her name is Olive and he said what's that again? and I bended a bit and spoke a little louder in his ears and said OLIVE and once he did that I said. Thank you! Then, I said this is for me. Can you please put my name Mary Rose. (abusado ako eh noh lols) He said what's that again? Again, I went to his ears and said MARY ROSE, then I put my hand in-front of his face and said Thank you and shook his hand~!! and I was like OmG I actually held SHAWN's HANDS. ahahaha. Kapalan na 'to!..... then off to the next guy seated it was Wayna. I admit I forgot his name. I only remember Shawn and Nathan for some reason so then I put my hand in front of his face while he was signing and I remember thinking YABAI! Why did I shove my hand in his face he is still signing! lols..I think I got him confused..and I think I said something but not sure what but this is what I was sure. On to the next Nathan and he signed it and put my hand right in-front of his face again. ( hey! I want to make sure I shook their hands okay? so right in-front of their faces really!!!! lols ) and I said this to Nathan. Thank you. WE LOVE YOU that I think I said that to Wayna too but I'm not sure. and Nathan said. Thank you. I want to thank them for the music. I should have said that because that was really what I wanted to tell them. That they are gifted and their voices are still the best in the industry, I wanted to thank them for the beautiful music and their talent but I just ended up saying WE LOVE YOU. ;-( I didn't want to say I LOVE YOU because that just might sound downright cheesy and even disrespectful.

</div>
After the autograph thing, they went to GUNMO resto. I thought they were gonna eat there but for some reason they left after a few minutes dunno what that was about and then they went down to their car. There were still people following them. Papparazzi. Waving, taking their pictures and calling out their name or something. They were not disrespectful or anything. There was enough space for the guys. They were fans. But the eyes were definitely fixed on them.

Seeing Boyz II Men this close I thought was not possible because for me they are Superstars. I admit I was kind of starstruck although they never acted as SUPERSTARS. I've seen a couple of popstars doing promos here but I never met someone as humble and low profile and so down to earth like them. I mean seeing them was like seeing your brother or your friend, talking to them was so easy and if you ask them anything they'd oblige and if you ask if you could take their picture they would even put their arm on your back. Walang ere at all! So grounded I was so surprised! and no epal bodyguards too!. I mean, they were just there. They were like your long lost friend, brother like I said. lols.....What I meant was I could meet Akon or who ever is hot now? I'd probably be curious and would take a look but when you see the idols of your youth, like I just did. There was something magical about it.

It was like life went full circle. One missing puzzle piece of your heart was found.

So to celebrate my long last wish coming true to see them in person. I'm sharing my Boyz II Men songs to you.

My Boyz to Men Favorites DL HERE -- >  HELLO THERE DL ME.

Their latest CD I ripped my CD --- > BOYZ II MEN MOTOWN HITSVILLE USA

Check out their:

and what do you know their next stop is Japan. Osaka, Nagoya and Yokohama,  I wish they'd guest on Music Station but maybe they don't do guestings because they didn't here? Not even an interview? or maybe I just missed it but I never saw any promos while in here.

p.s.

After I look at my DVD and CD and guess what happened maybe it was my fault or Shawn's hehehe but okay I'll just say me because most probably it was ME! Hello! I got confused. He wrote my friend's name on my DVD and my name on her CD. YABAI!!!!! Now, I don't know what to do. I want the DVD and they signed it so beautifully too. What they did was they signed their names on the CD directly not on the paper or the case while the DVD the signature was on case right where the DVD disc is at.

They were awesome guys. So down to earth and so talented.

and sorry I tried to do an lj cut but it just doesn't work for me this lj cut thing. :p and if you read all the way till the end then I applaud you..ahahahahaha. Thank you. lols
